Beverly has a log from someone they claim was simply a tester for this product out there. The guy took this for a week and made some pretty silly claims, but I figured they were small things that he noticed because he was really in touch with his body and changes in it. Thus I figured this might be worth trying. It's also worth noting he was taking 2-3 servings a day which will cost 60-90 dollars a month at BN's prices (you can get it much cheaper, but I already was ordering things from BN).
Anyway after about 2 weeks and the bottle almost finished I can honestly say I haven't noticed a damn thing. Does this mean the product is worthless? Not completely. I have been taking close to 80 grams of BCAAs a day for a long time now. This contains all of the EAA's instead of just the BCAAs so one would hope there would be something different. I have never taken a supplement with tryptophan so I was interested in any potential mood or positive motivational effects.
I don't have any more energy in the gym. I am not noticing any help with keep muscle and losing fat (not that I feel I'm dropping muscle). I don't feel more motivated from taking these first thing in the morning. I do not look anymore dense. Does this mean they're doing nothing? No, it simply means they aren't nearly as good as the hype beverly claims. They clearly are EAAs, the tabs taste like every bulk powder form of EAAs have tried. They are easy to take and for you girly men (or girly girls) the tabs are smaller than their mass or their ultra 40's but not by a lot. As for their claims about how much better pharm grade is than "animal grade" that doesn't even remotely make any sense. For your health I can see a reason to get something without impurities, but the results should be the same unless they are adding enzymes to effect the digestibility of the product.
If you can get a bottle of these for under 20 it might be worth while. At 30 a bottle this stuff isn't worth it. |
